Free Diapers For Pampers and Other Free Diaper Samples

Babies and diapers go hand in hand, there is no way around it.  No matter what specific type of diapers you pick, disposable or cloth, you have to have them.  And, they get expensive along the way.  So, while you are registering for all those great free samples, coupons, and other great offers for your new baby, don’t forget the diapers!

By registering with the diaper manufacturer’s sites, you will get all sorts of free samples and great coupons to use their product.  While most diapers are essentially the same, you will always find that one brand that you like the most and will stick to thoughout your baby’s time in them.  While pregnant with my daughter, I registered for every free sample, every great offer, and every coupon I could, because I know how expensive diapers can get.

So, when the free samples started to roll in, I stocked them up in a pile and began to use them once baby arrived.  When I started trying out the different ones, I decided to kind of “grade” them to see which one I would use from now one, and here is what I found:

1. Pampers sends out a sample diaper of their newest style of diaper - for me, it was the diaper with the “comfort fit” elastic around the legs and a core inside the diaper that helped to lock the wetness away from baby’s skin.  These diapers have a great stretchy elastic band around them, along with a small, sticky strip and velcro to help them stay put.  The Pampers diaper was so easy to get on and off, and it was also easy to tell if baby was wet just by feeling the outside of the diaper.  They also send out awesome coupons, for $1-2 off a new package, and each new package comes with another $1 off coupon.  Their preemie and newborn diapers were still a little too big on my preemie, so I didn’t use them until she got a little bigger.  But, after using their samples and then opting to purchase them, I would give Pampers an A overall.

2. Huggies also sends out great samples to new moms in their latest style.  I received a couple of new samples that were very similar to the Pampers brand.  These diapers also came with the “comfort fit” elastic around the legs and were very easy to stretch and twist with baby.  They also have a core through the middle of the diaper that helps to keep the wetness away from baby’s skin.  Huggies elastic bands around the top of the diaper are very stretchy and soft as well, with velcro fastners that stay in place with minimal effort on your part.  These diapers are very soft and easy to get on and off of a wiggly baby.  Huggies sends out coupons with their diaper samples as well, usually $1 off.  You do have to search for packages that come with more coupons though, but they are usually $1 off a new pack as well.  For the preemie sizes and smaller newborns, these are the best, as they are very small and fit around these smaller baby’s legs and behinds best.  So, I purchased a couple of packages of these diapers for my preemie and loved them.  Overall, I would give the Huggies diaper samples an A overall.

3. Luv’s sends out a few samples, and I only received one.  Luv’s diapers are not quite as soft as the Huggies or Pampers that I received, but I decided to try them out anyway.  I had to wait until my preemie was bigger to use them, as their newborn size was way too big and didn’t fit her right.  When I did get to use the Luv’s diaper, I wasn’t too impressed with the way that it fit or felt on the baby.  And, in the middle of her nap, I found that the diaper was leaking around one leg, so I had to wake her up and change her and then go through all the mess of feeding and getting her back to sleep after I made her mad.  I only received one newborn diaper sample from Luv’s, as well as a couple of great coupons that offered $1-2 off their brand of diapers.  But, after using the sample that leaked and didn’t fit her well, I opted not to purchase them at all.  Overall, I would give the Luv’s diaper sample a D.

While these are only three brands, they seem to be the most popular.  If you are interested in trying out other brands of diapers, you should register with their websites so you can be on the mailing list for samples, coupons, and other great offers that these diaper companies send out on a regular basis.  These samples and coupons can save you a lot of money and also help you to make a decision as to which diaper you will like the best in the long run.
