Before You Go Shopping Surf the Web for Savings

You should not go out shopping anymore without visiting web sites that give either codes or printable coupons that allow you to get a discount.

Some of these web sites are a sort of clearinghouse for coupons at grocery stores such as at www.boodle.com or a web site that has an assortment of retail coupons such as www.keycode.com.

These types of coupons are a great tool for retailers, as the ones that are cut out from the paper, as these coupons introduce consumers to products and services they may not try out without having a discount attached to them. However with discount codes and printable coupons off the Internet the consumers are shown to a web site of a manufacture for a description of the products that are for sale. These types of Internet coupons are also less expensive for the manufacture as they do not have to pay for printing fees.

Another place to get coupons off the Internet is from the manufacture web site. There are many manufacture’s that want consumers to look at their site where the customer will find coupons, discount codes, or mailed coupons. Many times on the manufacture’s web site there is an e-mail newsletter that the consumer can sign up for and often has coupons exclusive to that site. It is good marketing if the manufacture can get a consumer to visit their site and it’s very inexpensive for them as well.

You can also get coupons for restaurants as well as there are many coupons on the site www.restaurant.com where the consumer can also see the menu of the restaurant and their prices. This is how it works: you enter your zip code and the number of miles you are willing to travel for a restaurant and a list of restaurants will come up. You then can choose a restaurant and pay $10 and then you print out a coupon that is worth $25 off the entire meal at the restaurant you chose. You should know though that many restaurants have a minimum price that you have to pay for the $25 coupon to be valid. There are also restaurant discounts, and free coupons and free samples as well, on www.couponmom.com.

There are also several sites that have a unique type of coupon such as the ones offered on www.keycode.com. Here when you click on the icon for a woman’s retail store New York & Company a message will tell you to type in the amount that you will most likely spend at the retailer and an amount for savings with a coupon will show up. The shoe retailer Payless also has this type of coupon, which can be seen at www.payless.com.

There are many places to look on the Internet that will give coupons and discount codes in order for the consumer to save a lot of money no matter what they are looking for. The easiest way to do this is through a search engine, such as Google. Simply type in “Internet coupons” or something to that effect and many websites will pop up to give you printable coupons or discount codes. Some of the coupon sites include www.couponbug.com, www.coupons.com, www.couponmom.com, and www.smartcource.com just to name a few. The other way is to go straight to the manufacture’s website as they will often have coupons or discount codes available.

So before you go out shopping next time do some Internet surfing because chances are you will be able to find some printable coupons or discount codes for anything that you are looking for and it may save you a lot of money.
